Overview
What is Hivora?
Hivora is a Softrious in-house product that brings local services and social discovery together. People post what they need and receive offers from nearby pros, or browse short skill reels and book straight from a clip. Anyone can switch into pro mode to list their own skills, set rates, and track earnings. Every step is designed around trust: verified identities, protected payments that are released only when the job is done, in-app chat, live safety check-ins, and honest reviews. The project covers product strategy, an original identity, a dark gradient interface designed in Figma, and a delivery plan for a React Native app backed by a .NET API.
The problem it explores
Finding reliable help nearby usually means scrolling noisy groups, trusting strangers, and swapping phone numbers before you know who you’re dealing with. Talented people struggle to be discovered locally, and once a job is agreed there is no clear place to talk, pay, or feel safe. Hivora explores one app where local discovery, clear communication, simple booking, and safety work together.

Brand identity

Hivora’s identity was created from scratch: a hive-and-people mark, an ultraviolet, hot pink, and sunset gradient on near-black, and a warm, inclusive voice that puts trust first.

Design decisions
Why it looks and works the way it does.
Dark with a glow
A near-black base lets photos and reels shine, while one ultraviolet-to-sunset gradient marks every action.
Teal means safe
Verification, SafePay, and check-ins always use the same calm teal, so trust signals are instantly recognisable.
Every reel is bookable
Social content isn’t a dead end—each clip carries the pro’s service and a Book button.
Privacy before booking
Exact addresses and phone numbers are shared only after a booking, keeping first contact inside the app.

Approach
How we shaped it.
It follows the same delivery model we use for every client engagement.
- 01
Discovery
Align goals, define the product scope, and create a shared roadmap before engineering begins.
- 02
Design
Create a polished interface system, validate flows, and define the experience before code.
- 03
Engineering
Build with clear milestones, visible progress, and maintainable code from day one.
What it demonstrates
- End-to-end product thinking for a two-sided local marketplace
- An original dark, gradient-rich identity: name, mark, palette, and voice
- Discovery, booking, payments, social content, and safety designed as one product
- A React Native and .NET delivery plan, designed in Figma
What we’d validate next
- Test request-to-offer response times with pros in one neighbourhood
- Validate verification and SafePay flows with first-time users
- Pilot skill reels and measure reel-to-booking conversion
Hivora is a Softrious in-house product, designed and planned end to end by our team.
From the team
Behind the build.
“A local skills marketplace lives or dies on trust, so we treated safety as a core feature rather than a settings page. Verified identities, payments held until the job is done, live check-ins and honest reviews all sit in the main flow. The skill reels make it feel social, but every design decision came back to: would you let this person into your home?”
