Who it’s for

Who is this service for?

Softrious works with startups and growing businesses. This service is a good fit for:

  • Teams that launched a website or mobile app and need it kept healthy at a low cost
  • Startups that want senior engineers on call without a full-time hire
  • Businesses running AI agents or chatbots that need ongoing tuning and oversight
  • Companies inheriting software from another vendor or a departed team

Where we focus

Context, not tickets
Forward Deployed Engineers work alongside your people, so problems are understood where they happen.
Low, predictable cost
Fixed monthly plans cost a fraction of a full-time hire, and you can scale hours up or down as you need.
Planned, not reactive
Regular update cycles, health reviews, and a visible backlog prevent small issues becoming outages.
Always documented
Every fix and change is recorded in release notes, so knowledge stays with your business.

Process

How the work is delivered.

Every engagement moves through discovery, design, and engineering with clear milestones and visible progress.

Discovery

Step 01: Align goals, define the product scope, and create a shared roadmap before engineering begins.

Design

Step 02: Create a polished interface system, validate flows, and define the experience before code.

Engineering

Step 03: Build with clear milestones, visible progress, and maintainable code from day one.

AI-accelerated delivery

Shorter timelines, engineers still in charge.

AI now writes, reviews, and tests much of the routine code, so custom software ships sooner and maintenance costs less. Our engineers stay in charge of every decision, review, and release.

The AI tools in our workflow

We pick the right tool for each stage—and every AI-generated change is read, tested, and approved by an engineer before it ships.

  • Build

    Cursor

    AI code editor

Our day-to-day editor: codebase-aware completions, multi-file edits, and fast refactors across web and mobile projects.

  • Build & test

    Claude Code

    Agentic coding by Anthropic

Plans and carries out larger changes from the terminal—features, migrations, upgrades, and the tests that cover them.

  • Build & verify

    Google Antigravity

    Agent-first development platform

Runs coding agents across the editor, terminal, and browser to build features and check them in a real browser.

  • Design

    Google Stitch

    AI UI design

Generates first UI drafts from flows and prompts, which our designers refine in Figma into a polished design system.

Automated testing with AI

Testing used to be the slowest, most skipped step. Now AI writes and maintains the tests alongside the code, so every change is checked automatically—before a release and long after launch.

  1. Write code
  2. AI drafts tests
  3. CI runs suites
  4. Visual checks
  5. Engineer approves

Releases reviewed

  • Tests written with the code

AI agents draft unit and integration tests for every feature, and engineers review them like any other code.

  • End-to-end user journeys

Sign-up, checkout, and booking flows run automatically on web (Playwright) and mobile (Maestro).

  • Visual regression checks

Screens are compared on each change, so layout and style breaks are caught before users see them.

  • Runs on every change

The full suite runs in CI on every pull request and before every app-store or web release.

  • Self-updating test suites

When the UI changes on purpose, AI updates affected tests and flags them for review—no stale suites.

  • Human sign-off

AI speeds testing up; an engineer still owns the result and approves every release.

FAQs

Support & Maintenance: common questions

Yes. We start with a technical review of the codebase, infrastructure, and documentation, agree on priorities, and then take over support and maintenance with a Forward Deployed Engineer who gets to know the system and your team.

A Forward Deployed Engineer works directly with your team and users rather than from a distant ticket queue. They triage and fix issues with full context, keep the system updated, spot recurring problems, and turn them into improvements.

Yes. AI systems need ongoing care: evaluating answers against real examples, tuning prompts and retrieval, watching costs, and reviewing guardrails. This is part of our support for any AI feature we run.

Support runs on low, fixed monthly plans sized to your product—how many apps, how critical they are, and the hours of FDE time you need. It typically costs far less than hiring a full-time engineer, and you can scale up or down month to month. Book a call for a quote.

Response times, coverage hours, and priorities are agreed with you up front based on how critical the system is, and written into the support plan.
